## Performance problems

September 29th, 2010

I’m sorry about the problems that Inlage 4 took up to 100% of the cpu use if you open a file. But I fixed that bug certainly! Please reinstall the latest version – I hope there are no more bugs.

Thanks!

PS: The problem was refreshing the code folding; if you have latex files with e.g. more than 2000 lines you should deactivate this feature to have less cpu use… But normal file sizes make no problems now, I think.

## Inlage 4 released!

September 27th, 2010

.NET Framework 4.0 is required for Inlage 4!

SumatraPDF command line:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Inlage 4\Inlage 4.exe" "%f" -n%l

BibTex command line for other directories:
-include-directory=C:\aux %inc

Have fun with Inlage 4 – feedback welcome!

Homepage will be updated soon…

PS: Requested features wont be included in the next time! Bugs will be fixed.

I started to call the new Inlage version Inlage 4, because Inlage 3.1 had way too many changes!

Inlage 4 features will be:

- inverse/forward search with SumatraPDF
- folding: “\begin{align} … \label{test}… \end{align}” folded will be displayed as “align (test)”
- word wrap
- better autocompletion
- compiler errors/warnings list
- packagemanager for usepackage
- compiling to dvi and ps
- projects
- modify command lines

## Inlage Documentation

August 26th, 2010

I have started writing a documentation! The Inlage wiki is available at http://www.inlage.com/wiki

You are very welcome to help me to enhance this wiki/documentation!

I received some emails about inverse/forward search and I implemented this function just this minute. Inlage 3.1 is coming in a few days with some other nice features… Stay tuned!

## Inlage Cube works with Windows Vista®

August 9th, 2010

Inlage is not a Windows 7 only program any more! The features are available for Windows Vista®, too (without the Math Input Panel certainly). So maybe there’ll be a Windows XP version soon…

Get Inlage Cube for Vista!

PS: Thanks for the emails I got about ideas for new features or other problems. I hope I can include all of them, but I think maybe one or two features seem problematic to include (e.g. word-wrapping)

STAY TUNED

July 31st, 2010

I often get requests to give out licenses for free because people don’t have a paypal account or no money at all. I’m sorry, but thats not possible. It would be unfair to those who paid good money for Inlage.

But i’m making you an offer: If you can find two people who buy inlage you’ll get a third license for free

For those poeple, that can’t/won’t pay I’ll offer that you can find 2 people (students) that buy Inlage and you’ll get a third license for your own for free.

Today, Inlage exists exactly one year…

I finished Inlage Cube right now so that all of you can celebrate its birthday
Get it here and see the new feature list here.

Thanks a lot for all your emails with comments and ideas. I hope in the 2nd year I’ll get still more response so that this editor can grow on and on…

News comments are very welcome, too!

Have a nice LaTeX-ing!

Best wishes,
Nils
