Bugfix for “\%” and solution for handwriting input

November 26th, 2010

I changed the syntax-highlighting and now “\%” and “\$” won’t be understood as a comment/math mode anymore. For poeple that want to use the Tablet PC Input of Windows 7 I found a solution for the bug that nothing was inserted. I’m sorry that it isn’t the best solution but there is a hard problem with WPF…

So now you have to use the shortcut (Ctrl+E) to insert handwriting text. You’ll get a textbox in Inlage where you can paste the handwriting from the panel, correct it with the Windows dictionary (right mousebutton) and insert it to you cursor position.

Inlage 4.4 for Windows XP

November 17th, 2010

The new version can also be installed on a Windows XP computer.

You only have to install the .NET 4.0 Framework and maybe you need the Windows Imaging Component first.

I hope the XP machines you use are fast enough because Inlage needs much performance… So please check how Inlage is working on your XP computer before you buy it…

Bug in 4.3.8

November 12th, 2010

There is a versions with very hard performance problems (if the spell checker is enabled). If you have installed Inlage 4.3.8 please reinstall the 4.3.9 now.

Thank you.

EDIT: I’m sorry I didn’t upload 4.3.9… but now I did…

New trial restrictions

November 8th, 2010

I understand that poeple want to test all features of Inlage, especially the compiler output, so I decided to change the not activated Inlage version:

You can test saving and compiling your documents for three minutes. After that you have the restrictions like before.

If you restart Inlage you have that time again for testing.

Spell Checker Update

October 22nd, 2010

I increased the performance of the spellchecker, so there are no more problems with larger files. Inlage 4.2.1!

Spell Checker in Inlage

October 20th, 2010

I got a lot of feedback that poeple need spell checking. In Inlage 4.2 you can use a spell checker: English and German dictionaries will be installed with Inlage; if you wirte in other languages you can find *.dic and *.aff files here. You only have to copy both into the Inlage/dicts directory and choose it in the dropdown.

I’m sorry that the spell checker makes Inlage slow if you have > 5000 lines…

An other new feature in 4.2 is active line highlighting. Set it to your background color (e.g. White) to disable.

Inlage 4.1

October 17th, 2010

Please install Inlage 4.1 if you still use a 4.0.x version!

Autocompletion supports BibTeX

October 8th, 2010

Because I’m writing on my own master-thesis, I recognized that the command \cite should be added to the autocompletion. I did.

I think you’ll like that!
